Das sind nicht nur Tops und T-Shirts, das ist getragene Kunst; in Stoff gewebt und aufgedruckt. Es ist ein farbenfrohes Zeichen der Pop-Kultur auf der Brust eines Mannes, nicht nur simple Shirts! Das noch sehr junge Label, im Oktober 2012 gegründet, macht soweit alles richtig. Farbenfrohe Motive auf ausladend geschnittenen Oberteilen schreien nahezu in die Welt hinaus: Seht mich an, ich sehe gut aus!
Als Motive dienen Portraits schöner Frauen, welche auch Lifestyle-Zeitschriften zieren könnten. Stadtaufnahmen sehen aus, wie aus einem Reisekatalog entsprungen, oder hipstermäßig coole Momentaufnahmen wie aus einer Erinnerung an die gute alte Zeit. All das macht die Oberteile von Crooked Teeth zu tragbarer Kunst auf der Straße…ein laufendes Fotoalbum möchte man fast sagen!

These are not mere tops and T-shirts, these garments are wearable art made of fabric and adorned with prints. This label creates colorful symbols of pop culture which men now present proudly on their torsos. As you can see these are no simple T-shirts. CROOKED TEETH is still a young label founded in October 2012 and yet they doing things right. Colorful motifs on widely cut tops literally scream: Look at me. I’m looking fabulous!
As motifs, the portraits of beautiful women are used, which embellish the covers of lifestyle magazines. Photographic prints of city landscapes look as if they have been taken out of a travel brochure while vintage and cool shots appear as if they are memories of good old times. All these wonderful prints transform the tops by Crooked Teeth into wearable art taken to the streets… a literal walking photo album.
