Und es begann doch alles so friedlich…zunächst kaperten ein Freund und ich schwimmend ein Boot in der Spree und genossen danach unser Späti-Bier. Bis jemand auf die Idee kam, dass wir doch noch in einen Club gehen könnten. „Es ist Mittwoch, da ist immer freier Eintritt in der Magda“ sagte ich. Alle Anwesenden waren einverstanden. Wir befanden uns am Treptower Park, die Magda ist am Ostbahnhof, also nur ein Katzensprung. Wir wollten allerdings noch auf einen Bekannten warten und das war ein Fehler. Denn als er schließlich kam, konnte er kaum noch grade aus laufen. Wir schliffen ihn schließlich Richtung Warschauer Straße, auf welcher Hochbetrieb herrschte. Nach dem wir kurz mit ein paar Touri-Damen zu der Musik einer Straßenband tanzten, ging es auch schon munter weiter.
Am Ostbahnhof angekommen liefen wir noch die letzten paar Meter, bis wir schließlich angekommen waren. Die Türsteher waren freundlich und ließen mich sogar meine Kamera mit herein nehmen, als ich versprach keine Bilder zu machen. Drinnen schnell zur Garderobe, welche mit 1,50 Standardpreise hatte und dann schnell an die Bar. Ein Bier für 3,50€ inklusive Pfand ist grad noch legitim, aber ich habe schon durchaus teureres erlebt.
Auf dem Mainfloor lief elektronische Musik, welche durchaus tanzbar war. Heute Abend legten die „Jungen Wilden“ auf und diese machten ihren Job gut. Daneben gab es noch einen Drum and Bass Floor mir Live Acts. Das Publikum schätze ich auf durchschnittliche 20 Jahre ein. Damen und Herren waren gleichermaßen vertreten. Neben den Floors gibt es eine Chill Area mit einer verdammt gemütlichen Ledercouch. Auf dieser sitzend kann man schnell neue Kontakte knüpfen. Mit diesen kann man sich dann auch gleich in einer der Fotoboxen ablichten lassen. Dazu gibt es einen Außenbereich, welcher den Sommer über geöffnet ist und auf dem man sich in halbwegs normaler Lautstärke unterhalten und den schönen Blick auf die Spree bei Nacht genießen kann.

Everything started out so peacefully. Initially, I and my friend swam in the Spree to capture a boat and. Afterwards we enjoyed a beer, which we bought from a Späti – a German kiosk which is open 7/24. Suddenly someone had the idea to go clubbing. “It’s Wednesday, which means free admission in the club Madga.” , I said. Everyone present was okay with the turn of events. At that time, we were chilling in the Treptower Park. Madga is situated at the Ostbahnhof, which is just a short hop away. After the final participant in tonight’s fun, we headed to the Warschauer Straße.
When we arrived at the Ostbahnhof, we just had to walk for a few minutes until we finally stood in front of the Magda. The bouncer was friendly and even let me bring in my camera, as I promised not to take any photos. Upon entering the club, we went to the checkroom and entrusted the staff our jackets which cost €1.50, an average price. The bar was our next destination. A beer for €3.50 was pretty okay. I actually had to face more expensive prices in other clubs.
On the main floor, electro was played, which was pretty danceable. Tonight, the “Jungen Wilden” were responsible for the music and did their job well. Apart from the main floor, a DnB floor with live acts was available. On average the audience was 20 years old. Women and men were present in a ratio of 1:1, which is acceptable. Apart from the dance floors, there is a chillout area with a fucking comfortable leather couch. Chilling in there, you can come in contact with other party people. If you like them, ask them to take photos with you in one of the photo boxes outside of the Madga. The outdoor area is opened in summer and is a nice place to have a conversation without extremely loud music ripping off your ears. On top, you can take a look at the Spree from there – beautiful.
