Zac Posen ist ein amerikanischer Modedesigner, geboren in New York City. Er ist berühmt für seine femininen, körperbetonenden Kleider. Unter seinem gleichnamigen Label „Zac Posen“ erschafft er die schönsten, sinnlichsten Kleider, Sportbekleidung und Handtaschen für Frauen. Er will besondere Stücke kreieren, die alle Frauen tragen können. Ein sehr interessanter Fakt: für den „Sex and the City“ Film designte Posen die Kleider für Carries Brautjungfern. Desweiteren nahm er dieses Jahr an der TV Show „Project Runway“ (11. Staffel) als offizielles Jurymitglied teil.
Die aktuelle Herbst-/Winterkollektion 2013 beinhaltet damenhafte Retrolooks und romantische, voluminöse Schnitte. Vintage-Look Prints und Rüschen fügen Dimension zu den Kreationen hinzu. Posen legt viel Wert auf die Hervorhebung der weiblichen Kurven. Die Farben sind sehr subtil und gedeckt, perfekt gemacht für eine ruhige Winterzeit. Natürlich darf man nicht die wunderschönen, eleganten Abendkleider vergessen. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist hier ein sinnliches Kleid in Weinrot, schulterfrei mit einem Sweetheart-Dekolleté, welches sehr verführerisch wirkt. Satinstoffe bringen etwas Glanz, während Samt mehr Eleganz hinzufügt. Diese Kollektion erfüllt all das, was man sich vorstellt, wenn man an den typischen und einzigartigen Stil von Zac Posen denkt.

Zac Posen is an American fashion designer, born in New York City. He is most famous for his feminine, form-fitting dresses. Under his eponymous label Zac Posen, he creates the most beautiful, sensual clothes, sportswear and handbags for woman. He doesn’t follow the trend of youthful womenswear. Instead, he wants to create special pieces all women can wear. He probably had his breakthrough when one of his dresses he made for Naomi Campbell appeared in an article of ‘Fashion of the times’. http://www.zacposen.com
A very interesting fact: for the movie ‘Sex and the City’, Posen designed the dresses for Carries bridesmaids. Also, this year, he joined the TV show ‘Project Runway’ Season 11 as official judge.
The recent autumn/winter collection 2013 contains ladylike, retro looks and romantic, voluminous cuts. Vintage-look prints and ruffles add dimension to the creations. Posen puts a lot of importance to the emphasis of the woman’s curves. The colours are very subtle and muted, perfectly made for the calm winter time. Of course, one can’t miss the beautiful, elegant gowns. My personal favourite is the one in a sensual wine red, shoulder-off with a sweet heart neckline which looks extremely seductive and voluptuous. Satin fabrics bring along brilliance while velvet adds some elegance. This collection fulfills everything when thinking of Zac Posen’s typical and unique style.
