Unter dem Motto „Nudeclear Zone“ präsentiert Björn Borg seine neue Spring/Summer 2014 Kollektion. Gleichzeitig warnt er davor, denn seine neuen Kreationen betrachtend, möchte keiner mehr nackt sein. Sind die Kleidungsstücke – von T-Shirt und Hose bis Unterhose und Bikini – dann erst mal angezogen, möchte man sie nicht mehr ablegen.
Las Label Björn Borg splittet sich in Sportswear,also Apparel und Underwear, wozu auch Bademode gehört. Richtig tolle Sneaker, manchmal passend zur Unterhose, bekamen wir auch zu sehen 😉
Der Mann hinter dem Label, der sicherlich vielen bereits bekannt ist, war auch der Namensgeber, Björn Borg. Der Swedische Tennisspieler gewann in seiner relativ kurzen Karriere 64 Einzeltitel, davon 11 Grad-Slam-Titel.
Mit Neonfarben wie Pink, Orange und Gelb schlagen die Kleidungsstücke ein wie Bomben. Die Joggingjacke in Gelb sorgt dafür, dass man nicht mehr übersehen wird. Sei es nun zur Sicherheit vor Autos oder um die Aufmerksamkeit anderer auf sich zu lenken, die Jacke legt sich wie ein Warnschild auf die Männerbüste: „Vorsicht, es könnte zur Kernschmelze kommen – denn ich bin heiß!“
Auch die Accessoires sind ein Knaller. Während die Schuhe eher zurückhaltend entworfen wurden, hat sich Björn Borg bei den Taschen etwas mehr ausgelebt. Obwohl das Design relativ zurückhaltend ist – ein einfacher Rucksack mit Außentasche und eine Einkaufstasche – sorgen doch die Farben, nämlich Silber und Gelb, für einen starken Auftritt und einen leicht futuristischen Touch.
Die Prints, scheinen vom Element Wasser inspiriert zu sein. Der blau-schwarze Druck sieht aus, wie eine Wasseroberfläche, auf der Licht reflektiert wird. Zum Thema passend, könnte es sich dabei um das Kühlbecken eines Atomkraftwerks handeln, welches die Außenwelt vor der gefährlichen Strahlung schützt.
Ein weiterer Print zeigt horizontale, unklare, gelbe Streifen, welche unregelmäßig auf dem dunklen Hintergrund aufleuchten, wie glühende Brennstäbe.
Mit seiner neuen Kollektion bringt Björn Borg einfach jeden zum Strahlen. Einmal infiziert, kommt man von Björn Borg auch nie wieder los. Deshalb Vorsicht: „YOU ARE ENTERING A NUDECLEAR ZONE“, say JA! to Björn Borg.

Under the motto „Nuclear Zone“ Björn Borg presents their new Spring/Summer collection for the coming year 2014. Simultaneously, they issued a warning: If you took a look at the new collection, you would never want to be naked again. Once you tried on the garments ranging from T-shirt to underpants and bikinis, you wouldn’t want to get rid of them anymore.
The label Björn Borg is divided into sportswear, casual apparel and underwear, which also includes swimwear. In addition, we spotted sneakers which were compatible with the underpants designs.
The mastermind behind the label , who is obviously also the name giver, is Björn Borg. The Swedish tennis player won 64 single titles in his relatively short career, 11 of them were Grad-Slam Titles.
Armed with neon colors such as pink, orange and yellow, the garments strike like bombs. The jogging jacket in yellow will definitely make sure that you will never be unseen. Be it for safety reasons in traffic or simply because you want to draw the attention of others, the jacket is going to just be like a warning label. And the label reads: “Warning! I’m going to cause a meltdown – because I’m hot!”
The accessories are a hit, too. While the shoes look rather ordinary and almost timid, Björn Borg seemed to have run riot in the making of the bags. The cuts and shapes might look rather ordinary and usual. The rucksack is a rucksack, it is even equipped with an exterior pocket. And a shopping bag is a shopping bag. But the colors – silver and yellow- turn these bags and rucksacks into something very extravagant. A slightly futuristic touch can be found as well.
The prints seem to be inspired by the element water. The blue and black print looks like a water surface which slightly reflects the light. Matching the theme, the print could refer to the cooling basin of an atomic power plant.
Another print consists of horizontal, blurred, yellow stripes, which seem to irregularly flash on the dark background just like glowing fuel rods.
Björn Borg’s collection gives everybody the chance to shine. Once infected with the Björn Borg fever, you will never get rid of it again. Thus, we have to sound a note of caution: “You are now entering a nuclear zone!” Say yes to Björn Borg!
