Die gibt es auf jeden Fall vom Trendlabel New Era. Die Caps in den Limited Editions sind wirklich besonders cool, ich habe allerdings das Gefühl, die Caps sind eher etwas fürs Auge als für den Alltag, denn von der Qualität der angebotenen Ware bin ich als Fashion Liebhaber mehr als enttäuscht, trotzdem habe ich gleich 3 Stück gekauft für meine Sammlung. Ebay ist für New Era Fetischisten ein günstiges Pflaster, hier gibt es die Caps ab 40€, viele davon sind allerdings Fake.
Echte Basecaps erkennt man daran, dass es sie nur im Store gibt oder das sie einen mit 7 Nähten abgenähten Schirm haben, also lieber zweimal gucken, auch im Store, denn Vertrauen ist gut, Kontrolle ist besser. Wir raten zu einem Ledercap, denn Stoffcaps sind nahezu UNMÖGLICH zu reinigen, selbst mit dem Orginal New Era Cleaning Kit, womit sich höchstens die Farbe vom Aufkleber ablösen lässt. Gerade für die bei Rockerbillies beliebten Schiebermützen lieber die Lederversion, denn Haargel und die Pomade lässt sich aus einem Orginal nicht mal mit einem Hochdruckreiniger entfernen, ich sprech´da aus Erfahrung….doch in Zukunft sind meine Caps sauber…denn jetzt sind die Haare pomadefrei (abrasiert), das muss wahre New Era liebe sein, oder?….

The best caps for summer are definitely provided by the trend label New Era. These limited edition caps are really awesome but I have the feeling that the caps are rather for being pleasing to the eye than actual wearing. As a genuine fashion lover, I must say that I’m quite disappointed of the mediocre quality of this product, yet I bought three of them for my collection. Ebay is a source of cheap prices for New Era fetishists. They have Caps for about 40€, though a lot of them are fake.
The real caps can only be ensured by buying them at the store or by observing the visor which must have 7 seams. So look twice before paying, even in the store because trust may be good but control is better. We recommend a leather cap because the fabric caps are close to impossible to clean, not even the New Era Cleaning Kit has a chance against it, only the color of the sticker would fade away. Especially the rockabillies who are big fans of the flat caps, will love this leather version because hair gel and the pomade will stick to the original for life – speaking out of experience here…but my caps are going to stay clean in the future…because they’re going to be pomade-free (shaved). Now that’s real love, right?
