„Fashion is for one day-style is forever“! Ein Statement, das das holländische Label „Picture Perfect“ zu seiner Religon gemacht hat. Picture Perfect sagt von sich selbst: „Unsere Teile sind die Verschmelzung von Eleganz und Glamour“. Die Bikerjacken zum Beispiel wirken auf den ersten Blick zeitlos. Etwas, was man immer drüber werfen kann, um ohne viel Schischi einen coolen Auftritt hinzulegen.
Aber braucht nicht jedes Outfit wenigstens einen klitzekleinen Hauch von Glamour? Ja! Dachten sich auch die Designer von Picture Perfect und zauberten auf den Rücken der Bikerjacke kurzerhand einen strassbesetzten Totenkopf. In Kombination mit dem Lammfellimitat am Kragen und den bronzefarbenden Reißverschlüssen und Druckknöpfen, ist das Bild komplett.
Ein Argument, das immer wichtiger wird: Die Glamrock-Bikerjacke, auch alle anderen Teile der Kollektionen, sind fairtrade. Bei den Schnäppchenjägern unter uns sollten bei dieser Aussage eigentlich alle Alarmglocken läuten. Fairtrade= extrem teuerer aber genau dieselbe Qualität. Nicht so bei diesem Label. Die Sachen sind zu einem wirklich sehr fairen Preis zu haben. Picture perfect befriedigt also mindestens 2 Persönlichkeiten in uns. “Fashion is for one day – Style is forever!” A statement, which the Dutch label Picture Perfect turned into his religion. Picture Perfect said one thing about itself: “Our pieces are the fusion of elegance and glamour.” The biker jackets for instance seem very timeless at first glance, as they are truly something which can throw over quickly. Without appearing obtrusive, you can impress everyone with a cool performance.
But doesn’t every outfit need a little touch of glamour? The designers of the label Picture Perfect can definitely answer this question with a big yes. Therefore, they conjured up a skull made of rhinestones on the back of the biker jacket. In combination with the faux lamb fur and the copper colored zips and press buttons, the image of the glamorous biker jacket is perfect. What makes the label outstanding is the fact that they can’t ignore the ethnic responsibility which they are willing to take: The glamour biker jacket and the rest of the collection are without exception fair-trade products. The bargain hunters among us probably feel very uncomfortable upon hearing the term fair trade because the cliché indeed says that fair trade is extremely expensive and yet bears the same quality as ordinary products. But this cliché doesn’t apply to this label. The prices are very fair. For this reason Picture Perfect satisfies the needs of the two personalities within us: The bargain hunter and the style-conscious fashion victim!
